All our staircase materials are well seasoned and kiln dried to bring down the moisture content to achieve (EMC) equilibrium moisture content. Kiln dried wood is more stable compared to air dry wood and minimize warping and shrinking after installation. Kiln drying kills insects, larvae, eggs, bugs and mold, making it highly resistance to fungal decay. Kiln dried wood also works, machines, glues and finishes better than green wood. Thus highly increase the aesthetic and durability of our products.
